At thirteen, she had to drop out of school and start working, but she continued studying at night. She was already a tailor in a Costa Rican factory for major brands like Calvin Klein. Driven by a desire for more, Sandra moved to the U.S.A. and though she didn't speak English, she quickly adapted, and eventually found a job at "Bridals by Lori", the setting for "Say Yes to the Dress."
Sandra has always been passionate about creating impact and helping others, as a young orphan she saw the challenges of the world very early.
